Synopsis

LOVE is one of the most powerful emotions known to us. LOVE exist on many levels and it transcends across the world through all cultures. Many even fall in LOVE without knowing how to speak the others language and without sight. LOVE has also evolved and taken different forms depending on our environment.

The film explores the complexity of big city LOVE and events that helped shape the evolution of LOVE from the late 1940’s to present. It’s told by the average individuals in politicians, artists, athletes, and celebrities to experts in the fields of sociology, physiology, marriage counselors, and historians. You will hear from those that have been blessed to experience LOVE to those whom have never been able to find it.

This is a film to provoke thought and self exploration so you know where you stand with LOVE.

Film Statement

I was approached by my friend above with this idea of creating a film on the difficulties of falling in LOVE in NYC (big city life). As our conversation extended into a discussion, we realized that the film shouldn’t just present the current difficulties, but try and show how it has evolved into this across the board from heterosexuals to asexual, cooperate to the ARTS, from sight to blind. We also wanted to provide some form of guidance and solutions if you find yourself in any of the categories covered. We all have our own definition of LOVE, some have been fortunate to experience it and others have not. We should all keep in mind that it is not our place to judge the way LOVE develops with people, but to do the best that we can with ourselves to open the opportunity to engage with LOVE when the opportunity arrives in a healthiest way possible.

I believe this film will enlighten all those who view it in some form or another, big impact or small, evoke or not, all these elements will inform you of where you are at with LOVE and how you wish to engage with it or not. You are guaranteed to learn something about yourself as well as others. You will reflect on present as well as the past to allow growth or seal yourself to minimize your contact with LOVE.
